Contract Dates - If successful, the Caretaking role will commence immediately from January 2022.

The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this Site management position are GCSE English and Maths (A*-C or 9 -4). You must have recent relevant experience and a full UK licence would be desired but not essential.

The role 

We are looking to appoint a dedicated and flexible Caretaker. As a Caretaker you will oversee the general day to day upkeep of the school, particularly in relation to buildings and premises. You will be instrumental in ensuring maximum efficiency to the running of the site. The successful the Caretaker will be ensuring the health and safety, utilities, communications, and security is appropriately managed.

Vision for Education are working with a school in Tameside and are hoping to appoint a Caretaker to join their family. 

Requirements 

To be considered for the Teaching Assistant position, you will need as a minimum: 

• GCSE English and Maths (A*-C or 9 -4).

• The ability to multitask and prioritise your workload.

• Knowledge of Health, Safety, and security issues in schools (or transferable skills).

• Ability to communicate effectively with both colleagues and students.
