Main duties will include site security, dealing with out of hours emergencies (which would be paid as overtime), undertaking health and safety checks, undertaking routine maintenance and repairs, liaising with contractors, supervising the cleaning team, undertaking cleaning as required and maintaining stocks of cleaning supplies.  The postholder will also oversee the deep clean of the school during the summer holidays and would be required to work two weeks of the summer holidays plus 3 additional weeks spread over the remaining school holidays.

We are looking for someone who is positive, has a “can do” attitude, has relevant skills to undertake general maintenance (decorating, gardening, basic plumbing etc) and wants to ensure our pupils have the best environment to learn.

The postholder will need to use emails and IT software for monitoring repairs and statutory checks.
