We seek to appoint a Casual weekend Duty Officer to join our fantastic team! We are looking for a self-motivated, focused individual, with the enthusiasm and commitment to play a key role in the ongoing success of Tewkesbury School Sports Centre.
Weekend work is available on a shift basis with occasional evenings dependent on the needs of the Centre.
You will be responsible for the management of the centre and will also assist in a wide variety of management functions including health and safety, bookings, cash handling, cleaning and customer service.
A National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) is desirable but not essential. You must be 18 years or older, have the ability to communicate well and be committed to customer care.
Tewkesbury School Sports Centre is based on the site of Tewkesbury School. It is a dual-use centre with school students using the centre during the school day and the centre open to the community in the evenings, weekends and school holidays.

Tewkesbury Academy’s last inspection was under the predecessor school in Autumn 2022 – published January 2023 – where the Academy was designated to ‘Requires Improvement’. A year later, and there has been rapid improvement in the key areas of SEND, early reading and behaviour. The staff and leadership teams are engaged in a relentless drive for the Academy to regain Good and then move beyond that to be the great school this community deserves.
