An incredibly successful secondary academy on the outskirts of Dartford has a great opportunity for two confident and empathetic Catch Up Tutors to join their support team and to help those students whose learning in English and Mathematics has been impacted by COVID-19. Our appointed candidates will join Longfield Academy, receiving fantastic training and development opportunities from the off-set with scope to positively influence our students’ learning. Our newly appointed Catch Up Tutors will be passionate about improving students' learning and development across Years 7 to 11, either on a 1-1 basis or in small groups. 

This role is fixed term until July 2021 and the working basis is 37 hours per week, Term Time only. Please be aware that we have two positions available; one for English and the other for Maths. Therefore, please state on your application which subject you specialise in. Interviews will be conducted on a rolling basis, so early applications are strongly encouraged! 

This role is ideal for recent Graduates who are looking to embark on Teacher Training commencing September 2021.  This role will provide you with first hand exposure to working in a school setting.  If this is of interest to you, please include this in your supporting statement so that a member of the Talent Team can discuss it with you in more detail.
