Job overview
We have a vacancy for a Catering Apprentice.
Formal qualifications are not required although an interest in food and customer service are essential. The successful candidate will work towards NVQ L2 in Food Production & Catering.
This role is 32.5hrs/week, working 8am – 3pm daily.
You will be expected to provide counter service, prepare and serve meals to students and staff and carry out necessary cleaning tasks in the kitchen.
As an apprentice you will be expected to undertake work based training in NVQ Level 2 Food Production & Cooking with Heart of Worcestershire College. A commitment to working towards the qualification and keeping up to date with coursework is essential. You will receive monthly support from your NVQ assessor. Please note some training may take place outside normal working hours.
