The Governors are seeking to appoint two Canteen Assistants to support the Canteen Supervisor in the safe, efficient and professional operation of the School Canteen.  This is a term-time only position,  11 hours per week, core hours 12.30 to 2.30pm per day (with one extended shift).

This person will form part of a team of catering staff - ideally suited to this role would be someone with excellent communication skills and an enthusiastic outlook.

The appointed person will assist in providing high quality, healthy food to our customers, primarily students but also staff and parents, in accordance with strict time deadlines and hygiene standards.   Duties include operation of a Cashless Catering system and assisting with occasional special events.

About St Michael's Catholic Grammar School

St Michael’s is a girls-only (before sixth form), selective grammar, Roman Catholic secondary school with sixth form situated in North Finchley, London. It is a voluntary-aided state school that is part of the Archdiocese of Westminster. A smaller than average school, it will provide 920 places for secondary and sixth form students, when fully subscribed.

The school was established in 1908, became a Voluntary Aided Grammar School in 1958 and began to include boys in its sixth form in September 2009.
