Colston’s is a thriving co-educational day school on the outskirts of Bristol. The Upper School occupies a glorious thirty acre campus and has all of its facilities on-site. We are easily accessible from the motorway network and with approximately 750 students aged from 3 to 18.
We are seeking enthusiastic all-round catering assistants to work in our kitchens starting at the end of August 2017. All these positions are part-time hours, term time only, from Monday to Friday to cover lunchtime service plus an additional 40 hours a year during the holidays for cleaning/training days. We have posts available with various start and finish times to cover daily set up, preparation, clean up, Saturday sports fixtures and weekend events. The hours available are detailed below:
- 7.45am until 2.45pm Mon to Fri (32.5 hours per week) plus 4 hours on 8 Saturdays during the autumn term
- 9.30am until 2.30pm Mon to Fri (20 hours per week) plus 4 hours on 10 Saturdays, 8 during the autumn term
- 9.30am until 5.00pm (35 hours per week) plus 4 hours on 8 Saturdays during the autumn term
The hourly rate for all of the above roles is £7.84 plus paid holiday entitlement (pro-rata).

You will be responsible for assisting with general kitchen duties such as cleaning up, stacking the dishwasher, providing catering resources across school (e.g. coffees/teas /working lunches) and providing a friendly service for all our customers including the pupils and staff. No previous experience is necessary as training will be provided.
