About the role

Catering Assistant – Permanent - 12.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year.

Required to work with in the school kitchen providing a range of meals to meet the dietary requirements of the pupils. 

Up to NJC 3 £18,887 FTE (£5,579 annual pro rata per annum).

Who we are looking for

Applicants should hold an Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate, however training for this can be arranged.

Duties include the preparation and cooking of a nutritionally balanced menu of freshly cooked meals and salads. 

Additional tasks include the setting up the dining area, serving and the clearing up after meals. 

Applicants should be aware of current food hygiene regulations and food standards relevant to schools.

Have good knowledge of dietary requirements and allergens.

Support the nurturing, supportive atmosphere within the school

Have excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

Have the ability to work independently, showing initiative, as well as be part of a team, co-operating and collaborating with other staff.

Applicants may be required to provide relief cover at short notice.

Eresby School seeks to be a centre of excellence enabling each pupil to be educated to the highest possible standard.

The Aims Of School Are To:
