Catering Manager -  32.5 hours per week, Term Time only plus 1 week 

FTE: £21,057-£22,434 (this will be prorated in line with Academy terms & conditions).    

We are seeking a dynamic and forward thinking chef manager to lead and develop the existing service to both students and staff in this busy catering facility working alongside our outstanding team. 

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a proven track record in this industry. 

The ideal candidate will be ‘Chef Trained’, be able to demonstrate robust budget / stock control and be to engage and develop all aspects of the ‘Hungry Bishop’. 

The successful candidate will be able to lead a team in providing the catering service to staff and pupils in our busy and growing Academy that is striving to deliver inspirational learning.

About The Bishop of Winchester Academy

The Bishop of Winchester Academy, based in Bournemouth, Dorset, is a Church of England secondary school that prides itself on its curriculum, governance and outstanding student behaviour. Students aged 11-18 experience teaching in new state-of-the-art buildings and have first-class resources at their fingertips. The school operates in an area where there are schools that select for entry on grounds of ability.

The mixed secondary school was opened in September 2010 as a sponsor-led academy. In September 2014, the Bishop of Winchester Academy extended its educational opportunities by opening its own sixth form.
