30 Hours per week, with the possibility of an additional 5 hours per week during busy periods / 39 working weeks  

Staffordshire University Academy are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and proactive Catering Manager to join the team. We are an 11-19 academy who take pride in our in house catering service, providing our students and staff with high quality meals and a friendly service.  

The successful candidate will be responsible for the smooth running of the academy’s catering service.  Should have previous experience of working in the food industry, preferably in an environment with children.  Have experience of management with the ability to work to budgets and achieve cost ratios; and to effectively manage resources, and staff in a large scale catering operation. A current NVQ 2 in Catering (or recognised equivalent qualification) is desirable. Knowledge of health and safety in the kitchen is essential as an integral part of catering operations.
