Tendring Technology College is a key member of The Academies Enterprise Trust (AET), a multi-Academy sponsor which aims to provide the opportunity for all young learners to fulfil their real potential, broaden their horizons and become active, prosperous and successful citizens in the world around them. The College attained Teaching School status in July 2014 and is a large successful 11-18 mixed comprehensive school, which has two campuses; Frinton Campus (KS4 & KS5) and Thorpe Campus (KS3) with 5 miles between sites.
Each Campus consists of approx. 900 students and 150 staff. The catering functions on each campus provide breakfast, break and lunch for the students and lunch for the staff. The function has 14 staff in addition to the Manager.
We are looking to appoint a Catering Manager to supervise all activities in the catering function including the Satellite Sixth form café. You will be responsible for the operational efficiency of the catering service, planning, preparation and presentation of food and beverages to the required standard within budget limitations. You will maintain the highest standards of personnel management, hygiene and health and safety. The successful candidate will hold a relevant qualification to NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds 706/1 706/2 and will have a good working knowledge of COSHH.
This position is required to start as soon as possible. Interviews are scheduled to take place week commencing 22 January 2018.
