The College is looking for an enthusiastic, experienced officer to lead and develop the Combined Cadet Force from January 2019. Hurst CCF has proudly existed for nearly 160 years as one of the first Cadet Corps established in the country. It currently has 320 cadets parading weekly in 3 Service Sections: Army, Navy and RAF. Joining the existing team of 12 officers, the successful candidate would most likely be a current Section Commander, or existing Contingent Commander, looking for a fresh challenge and promotion. The post initially shadowing the current OC and 2i/c.
It is anticipated the incumbent will be a full time member of academic staff (dependent on subject needs), though applications to fulfil the post in a part time capacity are welcome.
A willingness to enter into the extra-curricular life of the School would be an advantage. Salary according to the College’s own scale.
