The British School Al Khubairat is looking to employ a Full Time Cello and Double Bass Teacher with the possibility of Head of Strings for the right candidate. The post will commence September 2019. 

The ideal candidate will be able to teach Cello and Double Bass from beginner level through to Grade Eight/Diploma level. Applicants will require a degree and be able to demonstrate they have relevant teaching experience. Candidates should be familiar with both ABRSM & Trinity exam syllabuses and will be expected to play a full and active role in the busy programme of co-curricular activities offered by the department.

Music is a significant part of school life at BSAK, with almost 500 students from year 3-13 receiving individual instrumental and singing lessons in school every week from a dedicated team of instrumental specialists.
