An exceptional opportunity for an ambitious professional to lead our KS3 Centre. Northfield provides full-time education for up to 50 pupils in an attractive and well-resourced centre.

The successful candidate will have previous experience of working with young people with SEMH and with ASC pupils.

We seek a leader with a previous track record of dealing with challenging behaviour and of establishing an ethos of high achievement for young people who have previously struggled to successfully engage in education.

James Brindley Academy provides education in 11 different settings across Birmingham, including hospitals, in-patient mental health units and Alternative Provision teaching centres. We have been recently inspected and judged to be good by Ofsted. The Governors and staff now wish to move the school to the next level.

Interested candidates are welcome to visit the centre prior to application on Thursday 27th April 2017 either from 9am to 10am or from 2pm to 3pm. 

Closing date: 1st May 2017 5pm

Interviews to be held: week commencing: 8th May 2017

Start date: September 2017
