Job overview

Langley Hall Primary Academy is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Challenge Mathematics Group Teacher for 2 hours per week (1 hour with Year 5 and 1 hour with Year 6). The day is to be determined with the hours between 9am and 11am if both sessions take place on the same morning. The successful teacher will be expected to plan for and run higher ability mathematics sessions with a focus on an extended level of challenge to the members of the respective Year Group, in conjunction with the Year Group Leaders and Numeracy Co-Ordinator, in order to effectively prepare them for the end of KS2 SATs examinations, various Maths Challenge events that take place throughout the year and participation in the UK Junior Maths Challenge.
