Salary Band: Scale 6 £23,398 - £24,964 (FTE) Actual Salary: £19,926 - £21,260  

Working pattern: 37 hrs. per week, term time only plus 5 days  

Start Date: September 2017  

Pax Christi Catholic Partnership is a multi academy trust comprising of St Benet Biscop Catholic Academy, Bedlington and Ss Peter & Paul’s Catholic Academies, Cramlington.  Together we offer high quality education in a Catholic Christian environment to children from the age of 3 to 18.  

The Board of Directors are seeking to appoint a chaplain who will work with school staff and students to promote and maintain the Catholic ethos and spiritual values of the school; to take a lead in the Liturgical life of the school and to ensure the pastoral needs of staff and students are met, whilst helping to maintain and further develop links between the school, parish, and home.  

Our new Chaplain will be a committed and practising Catholic with a clear vision for Catholic education and a commitment to partnership working. Whilst principally based at St Benet Biscop Catholic Academy, from time to time the Chaplain may also be required to provide Chaplaincy services across the Pax Christi Catholic Partnership which includes Ss Peter & Paul’s Academies, Cramlington.  

The successful candidate will be joining a team of professional and motivated teaching and support staff.
