Colston’s is a thriving co-educational day school on the outskirts of Bristol. Easily accessible from the motorway network and with approximately 750 students aged from 3 to 18.The Upper School occupies a glorious thirty acre campus and has all of its facilities on-site.

This is a temporary opportunity, as Chef, assisting with a professional food service to the pupils and staff at Colston’s school. This role is responsible for producing a variety of dishes to a high standard at the required times whilst ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly, safely and hygienically. You will work closely with and report to the Head Chef in the delivery of a quality product, pre-planning, and supporting a variety of catering requirements for customers.

The successful candidate will start in early November 2017 and this position is expected to last until the end of May 2018.

The ideal candidate will have at experience within a high class catering environment and an ability to establish and maintain excellent working relationships with individuals at all levels with the school. 

This role is term time (35 weeks) from 7am until 3.00pm on Monday to Friday with ½ an hour unpaid for breaks/lunch, 14 Saturdays (every other) during term-time for four hours. The hourly rate for this role is £9.95.
