Job overview

We are seeking a part time Lecturer/Assessor to teach across a variety of Hospitality programmes including VRQs/NVQs in Professional Cookery from Level 1 to Level 3, and Apprenticeship Standards – L2 Production Chef, L2 Commis Chef and L3 Chef De Partie.


 You will need to be qualified to Level 3 in Catering/Cookery, with an Assessor qualification, and experience of teaching and assessing in the subject area including good knowledge of Work Based Learning programmes and Apprenticeships.  You will also have experience of working in the industry as a Chef.  You should possess or be willing to obtain an advanced teaching qualification which the College will support financially in full over the two year period of the course.


The College has recently introduced a Working from Home policy. You may be able to work a proportion of your work time from home. Working from Home may be possible where this does not adversely impact on the operational needs of the College.
