Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, term time (34 weeks) 

Due to the creation of a new role, we are seeking to appoint a highly innovative, passionate and commercial minded Chef Manager to join the Pit Stop Café in our Catering Department. We are offering the successful candidate a blank canvas and the opportunity to create a legacy within the school through the management of the transformation of the Pit Stop. We are looking for a Chef Manager that knows what amazing looks like. You will be a person that consistently thinks outside the box and thrives on being able to create and innovate. You must have a true passion and genuine interest and zest for all that is happening in the industry – what’s new, what’s buzzing, whatever you think our pupils will enjoy. You will inspire and motivate excellent performance from catering team members and maximise productivity while delivering first class food and service levels.

A relevant qualification in catering/hospitality is essential, as well as the ability to lead by example in the preparation, cooking and presentation of high quality, nutritious food for large numbers of people working to tight timescales. You will have a passion for improving catering services and have a successful track record of commercial acumen and managing staff. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to act on your own initiative are necessary for this role.
