Chemistry Laboratory Technician

The College wishes to appoint a skilled, enthusiastic, and well-organised individual to work closely with the Head of Chemistry and Senior Science Technician to ensure delivery of an outstanding technical support within the Chemistry Department. 

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a laboratory environment and be able to set up and manage experiments, organise and maintain stock and equipment, and take responsibility for health and safety in their environment. A Levels in chemistry or a similar qualification are essential, as is a positive attitude and a flexible, calm and committed approach. 

This is an exciting time for the department as we have just moved into the new state of the art STEM building over the Easter break, and we look forward to welcoming a new member of the team.
