About the role:

We are looking to appoint a lecturer in Chemistry to teach on the Level 2 Gateway & L3 BTEC Applied Science study programmes for 16-18 year olds. 

The role will be based in the Science Department in the Centre for Applied Sciences on our Angel campus.

Units on the Applied Science Level 3 will include Biochemistry, Industrial chemical reactions and Lab techniques and their application. On Level 2 the units will include Chemistry and our earth and Applications of chemical substances.

About you:

You will hold an Honours Degree in a Chemistry or a relevant subject, have relevant experience in teaching these to 16-18 year olds up to level 3. You will also hold, or be willing to obtain a recognised teaching qualification. You will be used to maintaining professional and quality standards, and keeping high quality documentation.
