Job overview

William Morris Sixth Form, situated in Hammersmith, was established as the country’s first 16–19 comprehensive school. We offer 850 students from West London and beyond an exciting range of academic and vocational courses from foundation learning through to advanced level. WMSF is an over-subscribed, vibrant, inner-city learning community that has the individual student at the heart of everything it does.

The dynamic Science Department at WMSF is looking for a part-time (3 days per week) Chemistry teacher. The teaching responsibilities would be mainly A level teaching, OCR A Chemistry to both year one and year two students and some instructional teaching in vocational courses.

This job would be very suited to a teacher wanting to reduce working hours and concentrate on A level teaching or a teacher looking to return to work with fewer working hours and a high interest in A level teaching.

In return, we aim to create a friendly, supportive and open culture in which staff can develop and thrive. Professional development for all staff is taken seriously and many opportunities are offered both in-house and externally.

Closing date: 9.00am, Friday 16th June 2023

Interview date: w/c 19th June 2023

We actively promote the safeguarding and welfare of all our students. Successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
