A vacancy has arisen for a Chemistry Technician working as part of the school’s Science Faculty.
This interesting and varied role requires a personable, well-organised, self-motivated, flexible and reliable individual with experience in practical Chemistry, who would enjoy working with teachers and pupils.
The successful candidate will be fluent in both written and spoken English and should possess a working knowledge of Microsoft word and Excel. Previous laboratory experience is essential as is a relevant qualification such as BTEC L3, NVQ L2/3 or equivalent. There may be an opportunity, at a later date, for the successful candidate to be considered for a more senior post.
Normal hours of work will be based on working 37.5 hours a week Monday to Saturday; a flexible approach to working hours will be required.
