St Peter’s School, York, is a dynamic, forward-looking HMC independent school for day and boarding pupils based a few minutes’ walk from the historic centre of York.  

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed individual who has the passion and ability to support the high standards of practical teaching and learning within the department.  Ideally you will have related experience in a science laboratory with knowledge of common chemical nomenclature, apparatus, procedures and risk management.  The post is available from mid October 2021, though the exact date of commencement will be agreed with the successful candidate.

The successful candidate will work 22.5 hours per week during term time and a reduced week during school holidays.  Details of exact working patterns can be discussed and agreed with the successful candidate.  The actual salary for this role is £11,723.
