For September 2021, we are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Chemistry Technician to work within our exciting Science Faculty. There are three other science technicians supporting the science teaching and enrichment projects across the School. Facilities for Chemistry include three specialist laboratories, a project lab and a lecture theatre.
This is a superb opportunity to work in one of the very best school science teaching facilities in the country, within an innovative and outward looking STEM faculty, in the beautiful and supportive environment of our selective all-girls boarding school in Kent.
Benenden is one of the leading boarding schools in Britain. We were founded in 1923 and are situated in 240 acres of attractive parkland in Kent. There are 525 girls in the school, aged 11-18, with around 190 of those in the Sixth Form. Benenden is at the forefront of girls’ education in the UK, with recent innovations including the Benenden Diploma, a bespoke curriculum for our youngest two year groups, and the Professional Skills Programme, teaching the Sixth Form skills for the workplace. We are an ambitious school, with recent developments including a Science Centre and All-Weather Sports Pitch, and we are soon to be opening our new state-of-the-art Hall and Music School.
Meals are provided to staff whilst on duty. The School’s leisure facilities, including a fitness gym and swimming pool are available for staff to use.
