Job overview

We are seeking to appoint an experienced senior education leader to provide principled and dynamic leadership to the Bourne Education Trust.   

Reporting to the CEO, the Chief Education Officer will be accountable for the quality of education across all settings and phases of learning within the Trust and therefore must have a proven track record of executive leadership and impact across a number of schools and contexts.

The successful candidate must have a deep understanding of effective trust-wide improvement processes and a genuine desire to make a difference. You will define the Trust’s learning culture, lead its implementation and be proactive in addressing our priorities. The Chief Education Officer will inspire and empower our Education Directors and school leaders and therefore must be openly passionate about the power of education to transform the lives of children and young people.

In making this appointment we are looking for an inspirational and visionary leader who will invest in the next stage of our trust’s development; challenging and supporting us to provide the best possible opportunities for every child in the Trust.
