Our current CEO will be retiring at the end of this year and the Directors of BEBCMAT are seeking to employ a strategic leader to continue to develop the Catholic ethos, values and vision of our Multi Academy Trust. We are looking for an inspirational leader who will encourage and support the Staff in our three Academies.

We formed as a Catholic Multi Academy Trust in September 2014.  The Trust’s Academies are Christ the King Catholic Academy and St. Cuthbert’s Catholic Academy, both one form entry primary schools, and St. Mary’s Catholic Academy which is an 11-18 school.  Christ the King and St. Mary’s Catholic Academies are co-located on the same site, in new or newly refurbished buildings, following a large capital programme.  The parish church of Christ the King is also on the same site.  St. Cuthbert’s Catholic Academy is just under three miles away across the town.  It has also benefitted from significant capital investment. St Mary’s has recently been designated as a Research School and a CPD Centre of Excellence.

Our Ideal candidate is someone who will be passionate about our Catholic ethos and values, dedicated to improving the life chances of our children and will provide challenging and professional development support to all members of our Staff. As Accounting Officer they will work with the Trust Board to continue to improve on the reputation and excellent education standards within our three Ofsted rated “Good Academies”.
