Job overview

Chief Executive Officer for the Diocese of Norwich Education and Academies Trust (DNEAT)

 September 2019

Faith: Church and non-Church Academies

An exciting opportunity to lead an established yet ambitious Multi-Academy Trust in Norfolk.

The DNEAT Trustees are seeking to appoint a new Chief Executive Officer with a proven track record in school improvement and with the ability to operate strategically with a broad range of partners. The successful candidate will know how to deliver systemic improvement across the breadth of a multi academy trust through collaborative working across the trust, through the recruitment and retention of outstanding staff and through the creation of a high-performance culture through all key strategic stake holders.

DNEAT is, of course, part of the Diocese of Norwich. This means that the values of our organisation are underpinned by a strong Christian ethos. This shapes our culture and the way we work together, aiming to achieve excellent educational outcomes alongside children growing into their potential as individuals made in the image of God.

The Chief Executive Officer’s remit will evolve and grow as the Trust continues its impressive improvement journey. This position will suit a natural leader, with strategic vision, ambition and a drive to see children, adults and communities flourish. The successful applicant is likely to be an Executive Headteacher, Chief Executive Officer or someone with an appropriate professional educational background who understands how to drive sustainable, systematic school improvement across a group of mostly small schools.

We would urge candidates to visit one of the DNEAT Academies prior to an application, we can answer questions you may have, and you can engage with the ethos and vision of the Trust.

If you would like further information, a confidential conversation or to arrange a visit please contact Richard Lucas at Academicis on:

M: 07901-905-392 E: rlucas@academicis.co.uk  T: 01223-907979

All applications to be sent to Richard Lucas no later than 12:00 noon on Wednesday 6th February 2019.

Interview: Thursday 14th February & Friday 15th February 2019

The Diocese of Norwich Education and Academies Trust (DNEAT) is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

This position is subject to a criminal records check from the Disclosure & Barring Service which will require you to disclose all criminal convictions.
