It is providing an innovative approach to delivering school improvement services, building on the existing relationships between the council and Sheffield schools whilst firmly placing accountability and ownership of services with schools themselves.
The Company has made an impressive start establishing a healthy and continuously growing membership of 112 schools, it has a three year contract in place to deliver statutory duties on behalf of the Local Authority, delivering high quality professional development to teachers and is building a strong reputation for constructive challenge and high support with schools.
The Board are now looking to appoint a permanent Chief Executive Officer to lead the Company’s exciting next stage of development, building on the success of the initial phase, an entrepreneurial leader, who can both help shape and effectively execute the future vision.
