The Vale Academy Trust (VAT) is one of the very few trusts in the country that is both an all-through MAT with schools of no faith and Church of England schools. VAT was formed on the 1st October 2013; there are eight schools in the Trust with more expected to join in the next few years.

This is an exciting time for VAT and for an outstanding leader with an impressive track record of school improvement at headship level or above to join us. Excellent outcomes for young people; outstanding development opportunities for staff; and a shared and collaborative experience between our academies that help shape our work and help us to remain at the heart of the community is what our successful candidate will build on.

To make us even more successful our new, dynamic and inspirational leader will ensure that our vision of excellence, opportunity, community, partnership and collaboration places the pupils of VAT first, from which all other positive outcomes will flow. S/he will offer the strategic vision and leadership to ensure that our academies continue to make progress while providing the necessary support and intervention to deliver an outstanding education for all.
