We are looking to appoint an experienced CFO to be responsible for the financial sustainability and development of the Trust.

Danes Educational Trust is a well-regarded multi-academy trust based in Hertfordshire. There are currently six primary schools, five secondary schools and a University Technical College (UTC) with a specialism aligned to the creative industries. A further secondary school from a neighbouring county is due to join the Trust in September 2025.

The CFO is a key role within the central services of the Trust and will take the lead on the successful strategic development and direction of the Trust finance operations ensuring the financial health and sustainability of the Trust and our schools. Our central services is a collaborative team of education and business leaders with extensive experience in the education sector.

The ideal candidate will hold a professional accountancy or finance related qualification at graduate level (i.e. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA, MAAT or equivalent), have exceptional finance acumen, knowledge and be suitably experienced in leading financial strategy and operations.
