Chief Operating Officer

Cumbria Education Trust (CET) is a forward thinking multi-academy trust with six schools in Cumbria.

Responsible to the Chief Executive Officer, this is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to shape and develop a growing multi academy trust. This role is for someone who understands what it takes to work in a complex, fast paced and challenging environment but also has the drive and ambition to build and develop the business from the foundations that are already in place.

Currently, with responsibility for a budgeted annual turnover of approximately £17m, 3000 students/pupils across six schools and approximately 350 members of staff, this role requires an individual with an outstanding track record of experience in operational delivery as well as the drive and insight to help Cumbria Education Trust evolve as an organisation. You will inspire and drive cultural change, and be able to work in partnership with a range of partners and individuals with agility and ease.
