An exciting opportunity has arisen at the Bishop Konstant Catholic Academy Trust for a Chief Operating Officer to provide executive leadership across the Trust.

The Trust, formed in 2012, is a large Catholic multi academy trust; its central team office is located in the Nostell Business Park, Wakefield at present. Working closely with the Diocese of Leeds and currently comprising ten Catholic primary schools and two Catholic secondary schools, the BKCAT is committed to working in partnership to provide the highest possible standards of Catholic education for our children.

This executive level position will be directly accountable to the Trust Board and will be responsible for the development and implementation of Trust-wide strategies and action plans for the improvement of educational standards and governance. The post holder will work to create a culture of continuous improvement, to secure the highest possible achievement in every aspect of the Trust’s provisions, ensuring the Trust has a vibrant and inclusive ethos which actively values and promotes diversity, where everyone is treated fairly and equally.

Through inspirational leadership the successful candidate should ensure that BKCAT’s unique Catholic values are upheld and that the Trust’s academies, children and staff achieve continued growth and success.

The successful candidate will have Board experience and a demonstrable track record of success in delivering high quality operational services with exceptional leadership and team building capabilities.
