Kaleidoscope Learning Trust is seeking to appoint a Childcare Teacher to its “Outstanding” rated founding school Cloughwood Academy. We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual to deliver Childcare / Health and Social Care accredited qualifications and PSHE to KS4 and 5 to help us prepare out 14-19 year old pupils for the world of work.
This is an excellent opportunity for an innovative and inspiring teacher to provide learners with an outstanding learning experience.
The post-holder will be responsible for planning, delivery, assessment and internal verification of Level 1, 2 and 3 programmes. This will involve supporting the Academy learners in achieving their academic goals and career progression by delivering high quality lessons and ensuring high student attendance and satisfaction.
The contract will initially be permanent and successful applicants will receive an excellent induction and CPD opportunities to further develop their career. This is an extremely exciting time to be joining our successful, growing team.

Cloughwood Academy is an outstanding specialist day and residential provision. Situated in Hartford, near Northwich in Cheshire, Cloughwood serves families from all areas of Cheshire West and Chester and Cheshire East, as well as a number of pupils coming from nearby counties such as Fintshire, Wrexham and Warrington.
Cloughwood School converted to an academy in September 2013 as a single academy in a multi-academy trust (MAT). In September 2016 Cloughwood became the founding academy of Kaleidoscope Learning Trust (KLT) and has continued to go from strength to strength, enjoying 3 consecutive ‘Outstanding’ judgements from Ofsted from 2013 to date. The Boarding provision at Cloughwood is also rated as Ofsted ‘Outstanding’.
Cloughwood Academy caters for male pupils from the ages of 8 – 18 years all with a diagnosis of Social, Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties. More often than not, our pupils have other co-morbid conditions increasing their complexity of need.
Currently, Cloughwood has 120 pupils spread across KS2,3, 4 and 5.
Cloughwood is a highly inclusive, innovative, forward thinking academy with a strong emphasis on producing young people with the skills and character needed to go on into society and become purposeful, independent, confident young adults.
