Children's Centre Manager

36 hours per week (some weekend work may be required)

All year round

Somerset is a fully designated Nursery School and Children’s Centre. We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring Children’s Services Manager to lead on planning and delivery of services. We would welcome someone who holds a relevant degree for example Early Years and Childhood Studies or Teaching. You will need excellent interpersonal skills, experience in multi-agency working and a passion to improve the outcomes for children and families.

You will need to build on the good practice already developed within our happy and hardworking team; have good knowledge of children development (0-5) and of relevant policies, codes of practice and current legislation.

It is essential that you have a commitment to working sensitively in partnership with parents, and effectively with a multi-disciplined team.

All posts within Somerset Nursery School and Children’s Centre are expected to contribute to the overall ethos, work and aims of the school and a willingness to participate in training and other learning activities as required.
