Salary: £19,760 - £20,080 per annum (£9.50 - £9.75 per hour) plus £85 per sleep in


Hours: Average 40 hours per week (1300-2100 weekdays, 0900-2100 weekends and School Holiday)


Location: Acorn Park, Banham, Norfolk


As a Children’s Support Worker within our residential home at Acorn Park, you will work directly with vulnerable children with Autism and additional needs to provide them with the care, support and opportunities they need to be happy, healthy and to make their way in the world. You will chaperone the children to appointments and activities such as shopping or trips to the zoo, complete relevant paperwork, deliver personal care, undertake household tasks, and where appropriate administer medication.


Acorn Park is situated in the beautiful village of Banham in Norfolk. Acorn Park is a multi-site with a DfE registered specialist school for children and young people with Autism and related disabilities or difficulties. Also within the grounds are 8 individual children's homes. Each home holds its own speciality ranging from support non-verbal children all the way through to high functioning young people who are learning independence for adult life. The Quadrant is 6 semi-independent flats for children and young people who are ready to begin their journey to adulthood with support from the dedicated team to learn life skills and about life in the community.

Acorn Park Autism School is a unique 30-­acre private estate where children and young adults across the breadth of the autistic spectrum can live, learn and play in a holistic, happy & safe environment.

We enjoy frequent trips to local villages & the zoo, and regularly enjoy activities around Thetford Forest and at the seaside towns around East Anglia.
