Our Autism Resource Base is set within the mainstream, is an integral part of our school and we aim for the children to be part of all aspects of school life. You will be supported by our Resource Base team, which is made up of experienced teachers and TAs, and the Inclusion Team as well as well a range of professionals such as SALT, OT, LAAS and Music Therapist.

  • Have a good knowledge of the EYFS and KS1 curriculum.
  • Have experience of working with SEND children.
  • Have a good understanding of how small steps of knowledge can be built on.
  • Are dedicated and have high expectations of children and a belief that all children can succeed.
  • Are committed to teaching using a creative, cross-curricular approach.
  • Have excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
  • Are able to create a high quality stimulating, interactive and creative learning environment.
  • Are able to work effectively within our hardworking, talented and friendly team on whole school issues and can share good practice.
  • You have a strong understanding of how to safeguard children and promote their wellbeing and development.
  • You are a professional who will work co-operatively and collaboratively with other staff and members of the multi-professional team.
