Class Teacher

Westfield Primary School requires an additional, motivated and effective class teacher to join our friendly and welcoming team from 1st November 2021, however a start date of January 2022 would be considered for the right candidate.

 The ability to teach across the primary age range is essential, however the post will most likely be in Key Stage 2.

The post is fixed term until 31st August 2022 however a permanent post would be considered for the right candidate.

In our last Ofsted (April 2015) Westfield was judged as a good school.

‘The head teacher and other leaders in school, including governors, have worked together effectively to address the areas for improvement from the previous inspection. They identified what needed to change and have taken action to improve achievement and the quality of teaching, particularly in mathematics and phonics. Pupils are proud of their school and they look after it with care. The behaviour of pupils around the school is good; pupils are sensible, polite and respectful both towards each other and towards all adults. During lessons, they concentrate well and try hard.
