Are you a good team player who wants to work in our exciting new school?

Stepney Park Primary School is a brand new three/four form primary school, due to open in September 2020. The new school will be an amalgamation between two already successful neighbouring primary schools: Redlands Primary School and Smithy Street Primary school.

Stepney Park Primary school will be situated in the heart of London’s ethnically diverse East End. We are lucky to have very engaged parents who are supportive and ambitious for their children. We passionately believe in Inclusion and have a highly specialised team of professionals working with our SEND children.

Working in Stepney Park Primary Street will give you the opportunity to be part of something unique: you will be part of a brand new school. You will work in a yeargroup team alongside at least two or three highly motivated class teachers, alongside supportive senior leaders from both primary schools and will have access to excellent training opportunities.

Many of our leaders have risen through the ranks internally, evidence of our commitment to provide career progression opportunities within school.

Teaching here in Tower Hamlets, one of the most successful Local Authorities in the country, will enable you to benefit from working in close partnership with many other successful schools. Our curriculum provision is rich; we plan using the Chris Quigley Essentials curriculum, learning happens in rich contexts and we strive to make best use of all the unique and exciting learning opportunities on our doorstep in London.  We have many fantastic resources, including our own forest, an art and a music studio, two computing suites and Chrome Books or I-pads for each child and teacher.

But by far our biggest assets are our children! They are welcoming, eager to learn and very well behaved.

Please get in touch with us if all of this appeals to you.  We’d be happy to share our plans with you and give you more information.

Please contact our office manager, Shelema at: recruitment@smithystreet.towerhamlets.sch.uk  for an application pack.

Stepney Park Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff to share this commitment. The successful candidate will require an enhanced DBS check.

Visits to the school: Welcome by arrangement – please email recruitment@smithystreet.towerhamlets.sch.uk to arrange a visit.

Closing date: Friday Jun 26th

Interviews: Week commencing Jun 29th
