The Governing Body seek to appoint to the following post at Hill Top School – Autism Base:
Hill Top School is a secondary special school, it provides education for pupils with moderate learning difficulties aged 11-19 and with the autism centre a range of pupils with moderate to severe learning difficulties and autistic spectrum disorder.
The Governors of Dryden and Hill Top Learning Federation seek to appoint two vibrant, enthusiastic and successful teachers to join our well established, experienced, supportive and dedicated staff team. You will have responsibility for a class within our autism base. As with all posts in school, you must have the flexibility to work anywhere in the school. This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward thinking Federation.
We are looking for:
- An excellent classroom practitioner with a commitment to meeting the needs of young people with severe autism and associated learning difficulties and deliver a full range of subjects to these pupils.
- A teacher that can rise to challenges and has a calm, creative and flexible approach to their practice.
Applicants would benefit from experience of and/or have a genuine interest in working with young people who have a range of learning difficulties and disabilities.
