About Jubilee Primary School

Jubilee is a popular two form entry primary school located towards the northern end of Hackney in East London.

The school sits between Clapton and Springfield Park on one side, and Stoke Newington (Clissold Park, Church Street) on the other.

We have more than 400 pupils, who come from a wide range of backgrounds and faith groups. We take pride in our inclusiveness and provide inspirational, high quality learning for everyone. We work closely with parents and with the extended community around the school.

Jubilee has always placed a special emphasis on developing and celebrating creativity. Examples of this approach include whole school art exhibitions, two school choirs, drama classes, a range of instrumental tuition, an annual musical production and class assembly performances. We are fortunate to have our own theatre, with lights, sound system and staging, as well as a creative arts centre for music and the visual arts within the school grounds.

Since 2011, Jubilee has had overall responsibility for Fernbank Children’s Centre, five minutes’ walk away in Fountayne Road. The Centre offers day-care for children aged 3 months to 5 years old and drop-in family support services.

Thanks to all the above, and more, Jubilee plays a key role in its local community.
