Job overview

Class Teacher

Are you dynamic, creative and enthusiastic about teaching and learning? Do you aspire for the very best learning opportunities and experiences for the children in your care? Are you driven to be the best teacher you can be? Do you genuinely want to make a difference?

If you are honestly able to answer yes, then we would love to hear from you.

We are a large and growing school and are looking to add a talented and reflective class teacher to our team. You will find our children keen and motivated to learn, and as a school, you will find us supportive and innovative in our approach. We are a vibrant school in the midst of lots of exciting change and there could be a place here for you.

Come and visit us, to see for yourself and to informally explore the role and its potential.

We have the flexibility to offer this as a Key Stage 1 or 2 post, dependent upon the successful candidate’s experience and preference; for the right person, we can ensure the right fit.

Newly qualified teachers are more than welcome to apply for this position.

Please contact Andrew Peck to arrange a visit or to have an informal chat.

There are over 400 children on roll who come from a mix of social and ethnic backgrounds with just under a hundred for whom English is an additional language. The school site has an established Childrens’ Centre and a pre-school facility which is run by an outside provider.

Strong relationships have been built up with the University of Hertfordshire and the Hatfield Estate where our children take part in educational activities.
