Class Teacher

Our ambitious and successful Prep school has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and inspiring teacher to join our team, teaching Reception or Key Stage 1. Applications are particularly encouraged from practitioners who have experience in EYFS, especially in an Independent school setting.

You will be a self-motivated, innovative and outward looking teacher who has a desire to work with other teachers to deliver an engaging and inspiring curriculum. Strengths in English and Mathematics are essential, as well as ability and enthusiasm to teach art, D.T. science and humanities. A key aspect of this role is providing high levels of individual pastoral care to each pupil.

The Prep School is situated in the rural location of Wheathampstead village, only 5 miles from St Albans. This is a permanent position offered on a full-time basis. 

The start date for this position will be September 2023.
