The Local Governing Body is keen to appoint a ‘quality first,’ teacher to join our ambitious and successful staff team.  This is a full-time post, although we would consider part-time / flexible hours for the right candidate.  As a large school we are able to offer opportunities across the key stages, including Early Years.

We are an ‘outstanding’ school and are determined to maintain this status for our students, who deserve an excellent education. We know we can only do this by providing an environment in which teachers enjoy working and feel valued and supported by senior leaders to do well.   All teachers work within a supportive team overseen by a Year Group Leader and  Assistant Head Teacher for the phase. We work hard to provide an environment that considers your workload so that you have time to plan, prepare and enjoy teaching the children in your class. You will have access to a pool of class learning support assistants, administrative support including data collection and PPA time taught by specialist teachers.  

This is an exciting time for Hillingdon Primary School as we lead on the development of The Elliot Foundation Teaching School and we are thrilled at the opportunities this presents for our staff to grow and develop.  We are keen to hear from experienced teachers who are interested in sharing their expertise / skills with other schools and can provide opportunities for the right candidate to develop as an Expert Teacher / Specialist Leader of Education.  Many of our teachers eventually move on to middle and senior leadership positions due to the opportunities we provide to support a teacher’s development and career.  We also welcome applications from teachers who wish to develop their teaching career within the classroom.
