Class Teacher

KS1 or KS2 with optional TLR

St. Charles is a successful and welcoming school, located in a residential part of North Kensington, with easy access to Portobello Road and Notting Hill. The Governors are looking to appoint a highly motivated, dynamic class teacher to our happy, vibrant London primary school with a strong Catholic ethos.

We are looking for an experienced teacher and the possibility of a TLR is available for the right candidate, although applications are also welcome from NQTs.

You should have:

• QTS
• Be an outstanding and creative practitioner,
• Be a committed, enthusiastic team player who is able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills with pupils, colleagues and parents.
• Contribute fully to the Catholic ethos of the School.
• Have high expectations of teaching, learning and behaviour.
• Promote the wellbeing of pupils, providing guidance and support.
• Assist the Head in the preparation of reports as necessary.

The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and subject to a half term’s probationary period. The appointment requires an enhanced DBS check to be completed, is subject to satisfactory employment references, identity and safeguarding checks and will be probationary for one term.
