Something exciting is always happening at The Ryde! We are looking to appoint a creative and enthusiastic teacher to join our successful school in September 2017. We have a positive and welcoming ethos where by both staff and children are valued and thrive. We provide a dynamic curriculum by engaging our children through exciting and adventurous activities. The school is well managed and is keen to offer opportunities for professional development. Our children are well behaved, keen to learn and engage with adults positively. They enjoy challenges and problem solving opportunities. This independence of thought enables children to contribute positively to the development of the school. Our classrooms are well resourced, and not only offer up to date IT resources, but also a range of exciting artefacts and books to support the curriculum. Classes are all supported by a well-qualified full time TA as well as additional teacher support. The parents and carers of our children are actively involved in their children’s learning and support the school very well. The school is well respected in the local area, with residents and local businesses actively involved in the development of the school. The school has exceptional grounds that both the children and staff take pride in and use regularly for teaching and learning experiences. Visits are actively encouraged. We would welcome applications from NQTs.
