Our successful Church of England School is looking for a passionate, reflective teacher. We invite applications from teachers with experience across the age range. The post could be based in Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 and will be decided in conjunction with the successful applicant. You will be ambitious for our children and know that teaching is about encouraging a genuine love of learning and creating a stimulating, warm environment in which every pupil can develop both academically and socially. We require a teacher who can listen, question, be responsive and remember that every pupil and class is different. 

Our teachers benefit from tailored support, targeted professional development opportunities and the chance to work in a friendly and collaborative learning community. Leaders in school take a ‘common sense’ approach to workload and work alongside staff to ensure that everything we do has in impact on pupils’ progress. We encourage staff to be reflective, risk-taking and be at the leading edge of research and innovation in order to secure best outcomes for children. 

Our school opened in April 2014 and has gone from strength to strength since that time. In November 2016 we were judged as ‘OUTSTANDING’ in a SIAMs inspection and in May 2017 as a ‘GOOD’ school with ‘OUTSTANDING’ Personal development and welfare by OFTSED. We seek a committed professional to work with us as we become a truly outstanding place of learning. 

We have wonderful children who behave well and are eager to learn. Our parents and wider community are respectful of our school and work with us to provide children with the best possible start to life. 

Our school is well placed for applicants from across West Yorkshire, we are situated very close to Junction 27 of the M62, close to Birstall retail park.
