Palmers Green High School (PGHS) seeks to appoint an enthusiastic, inspirational and well-qualified Class Teacher (KS1 or KS2) to join this strong and highly successful school.

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and committed teacher to join a school that works collaboratively to get the very best from all of our pupils. The successful candidate will be confident and proficient in planning and teaching lessons and will engage and motivate pupils to realise their full potential whilst maintaining the core values of our school. The post is initially likely to be in Lower Key Stage 2 but applications are welcome from both Key Stages. As a teacher at PGHS, you will participate fully in the life of the School and contribute to enriching the lives of the girls.

In addition to the curriculum teaching, the successful candidate will contribute to the school’s extensive range of extracurricular clubs, enrichment activities and partnership events. 

At PGHS you will be teaching bright, interested and hard-working pupils in an academically selective girls’ independent school where our record of success is outstanding. PGHS is top of The Sunday Times Parent Power League Table for small independent schools based on GCSE grades.

Salary is in accordance with the PGHS Scale.
