Do you want to work with well-behaved and enthusiastic children and supportive parents?
Do you want to join a friendly and helpful team who share planning and resources?
Do you want to join a school with a realistic view of teacher workload, where the focus is on what happens in the classroom?
If so, come and have a look around our school, meet the Principal and pupils and see if we are the right place for you.
We welcome applications from experienced teachers or those new to the profession, on a full or part-time basis, to join our supportive and friendly school, initially to cover a period of maternity.
Part of the Greenwood Academies Trust (GAT), we opened in 2013 as a new, two-form entry primary academy serving Oakley Vale in Corby. We have grown year-on-year and are a popular and oversubscribed school. This academic year is the first year that we have a full cohort of children in all year groups from Nursery to Year 6.
Joining us, you can be assured that you will be contributing to our mission to enable every child to achieve their best. All GAT academies work collaboratively to share best practice and are supported by the expertise within the central team to enable them to focus on teaching and learning. As a GAT employee, you will receive excellent opportunities for career progression and access to bespoke CPD from the Learning Alliance to enhance your professional growth.
You’ll be working in a great part of the country, as well as within a great organisation. The thriving town of Corby offers excellent transport links and affordable housing. Northamptonshire is one of the UK’s fastest growing counties; it is highly favoured by those wanting to strike a good balance between living and making a living.
Visits to the academy are warmly welcomed and encouraged; please contact the school office on 01536 430510 or via firstname.lastname@example.org, to arrange a tour of the Academy from the Principal, Mrs Nikki Lamond.
