Values and Vision

The school’s primary vision is “Learn, Create, Grow Together”. School rules focus on kindness, helpfulness, respect, hard work, honesty and listening. Sheringdale encourages children to be outdoor learners as well as keen academic performers. A team of staff, governors and families give the school everything it needs to create an atmosphere of creativity, care and high educational standards.

Extracurricular activities take place every day of the week, and include music clubs for pupils learning piano or recorder, as well as netball and cricket/multi-sports clubs.

Ofsted

“Outstanding teaching ensures that pupils make rapid progress and achieve exceptionally well whatever their starting points. The school is constantly evaluating its performance and making any changes necessary in the drive for even higher outcomes. Pupils are confident and have extremely good social skills which, along with their excellent academic achievements, means they are exceptionally well prepared for secondary school.”
